132. You Know Better…So Why Aren’t You Doing Better?
You know alcohol isn’t helping you. You’ve read the books, listened to the podcasts, maybe even taken a few breaks from drinking. So why do you keep going back?
In this episode of Unbottled Potential, I’m answering a listener question that I know so many intelligent, self-aware women wrestle with: If I know better, why am I not doing better?
The problem is that changing your relationship with alcohol isn’t simply an information problem. And when you focus only on removing alcohol without addressing what’s underneath it, sobriety can feel like taking away your escape hatch without giving yourself another way out.
