Allow me to introduce you to my sobriety “palate cleanse” strategy for  “deep feelers” (highly sensitive, empathic, or neurospicy/ADHD) who can stay alcohol-free at stimulating events but then feel an uncomfortable comedown at home that can trigger a wind-down drink.

In this episode, I'll explain how going from “100 to zero” can dysregulate the nervous system and describes choosing a controlled, calming detour—like a vintage shop or sitting for coffee—as a ramp-down that reduces rumination and overstimulation without relying on alcohol (noting that crowded places like Costco wouldn’t help).
